Non-Insulated Ribbed Commercial Garage Doors

A pan-type standard commercial door by General Doors Corporation is generally 2-1/8" thick and made with 24 gauge G-60 hot-dipped galvanized steel skin. Heavy-duty galvanized stiles are welded to the skin on each side.

This type of ribbed door is available only in white or bronze color. You can order this door with 20 gauge skin for extra heavy-duty applications. Note that this option is available only in white.

General's Weather Breaker 175

The Weather-Breaker door from General Doors Corporation is 1-3/4” thick and is made of polyurethane foam. The foam is injected between two G-60 hot-dipped galvanized steel skins.

With an R-value of 16.4, this makes it a super-insulated door. It is either available in white or brown. If you are concerned about energy conservation, this door is your best bet The Weather-Breaker’s sturdy, solid construction makes it versatile and hence it can be used for a wide variety of applications.

State-of–the-art manufacturing process produces a super-strong, super-insulated (R value = 16.4) section using CFC 11 free polyurethane foam core
Embossed pin stripe ribs in 25 gauge exterior skin, and embossed 27 Gauge interior skin are separated by a thermal break
Available with cut-out lites or with full view aluminum frame section in mill finish or painted white or brown to match door color. All cut-out lites are with insulated glass, full view sections have many glass options

Insulated Ribbed Commercial Garage Doors

The insulated ribbed pan-type garage door by General Doors Corporation is 2-1/8” thick and is made with 24 gauge G-60 hot-dipped galvanized steel skin. Heavy-duty galvanized stiles is welded to the skin on each side.

A polystyrene insulation of about 1-7/16” thickness is installed and covered with 26 gauge white painted steel or a heavy vinyl backer sheet. You can choose it in either white or bronze color.

You can order this type of garage door with a 20 gauge skin for extra heavy-duty applications. This is only available in white color.
