The steel raised panel (SRP) door from General Door Corporation is a 2"-thick pan-type door, made with 24-gauge, hot-dipped galvanized steel, and prefinished with 1.0 mil thick, extra heavy-duty paint system.

Available in four colors, including arctic white, almond, deep brown and sandtone, the SRP doors are mostly used by new home builders throughout the country. Optional vinyl-backed polystyrene insulation yields an R-value of 6.8.

Advantage Door

The Advantage door from General Door Corporation is a three-layer door, made with a 1-3/8” thick polystyrene core sandwiched between two 26-gauge prefinished steel skins with a thermal break. The steel is protected by a G60 galvanizing layer topped by a heavy-duty two-coat baked–on polyester paint system.

Available in four colors, including white, almond, brown and sandtone, this door is used by custom home builders and is a very popular replacement door. Its rated R-value is 6.7.

Hampshire Door

The Hampshire door is 1-3/4” thick, made of polyurethane foam injected between two 26-gauge steel skins with a thermal break. This door model is available in short or long panel designs (Colonial or Ranch Style) or in a plain flush front.

Available in four colors including white, almond, brown and sandtone, this door is suitable for colder climates or for any job where insulation is of significant importance. Its R-value is 16.0, the highest available.

Lancaster Door

This is a four-layer “sandwich type” construction that uses low maintenance material. With eight door designs and eight window options, this door type lets you achieve a unique look for your garage door. All door design sizes have a 28” high top sections which maximizes the glass area and provides an authentic Carriage House look.

This door is available in bright white, arctic white, sandtone and almond colors. All PVC overlays are bright white. Its R-value is 6.7.
